Ramsau am Dachstein Info
On the south side of the Dachstein massif between the Dachstein and the Ennstal valley the village of Ramsau sits on a plateau. It is below the Dachstein but above the Ennstal. It is to the north west from Graz, south east from Salzburg. Due to its exceptional geography of relatively flat terrain at a high elevation, the Ramsau plateau has developed as a major center for cross-country skiing. On the north side of the village is the toll road leading up to the Dachstein cable car station and the spectacular rock and ice of the Dachstein.
