It is known as Europe’s largest alpine plateau and surrounded by the Dolomite peaks of Sassolungo, Sassopiatto, Sciliar and Catinaccio with altutudes of between 2500m to 3300m. Coming off the plateau we have villages between 1000m to 1300m altitude. It is south from Innsbruck, north from Verona and Venice, is an area of Italy that due to its history is mostly German speaking. Its name in German is Seiser Alm.

Winter Activity in Alpe di Siusi
The range of slopes available is large with a well developed lift system using draglifts, chairlift and gondolas, and a combination lift with carries both gondola cabines and chairs known as the Telemix. Alpe di Siusi is part of an even larger area, but just within Alpe di Siusi there are descents from 2300m down to 1700m. The gondolas prove the links with the valley, one from Siusi, the other from Ortisei.
Lift passes for Alpe di Siusi are also valid for neighbouring Val Gardena. To cover a wider range of Dolomite resorts there is also the Dolomiti Superski liftpass.
