Zauberberg – Semmering Info
It is a mountain pass, with a World Heritage listed railway line dating from the 1850s and a village. It is on the way from Vienna to Leoben, southwest from Vienna, north from Graz. The pass is the border between Lower Austria and Styria. On the south side of Semmering is the 1340m Hirschenkogel mountain.

On the Hirschkogel mountain the resort of Zauberberg gives descents from 1360m down to 1000m using one gondola and one chairlift. For the beginners slope there is a draglift.

Connections: although no skibus system is provided, there is a bus service between the Zauberberg and its neighbour on the west side above the village of Spital is the 1782m Stuhleck with its ski area.
