Winter Activity in Jochberg
New, since just December 2013 , the Wagstaettbahn gondola replaces the old chair lift from Jochberg village up to Wurzhoehe at 1740m, giving a choice to head south towards Pass Thurn,the Resterhoehe area and the Zweitausender peak, or north into Pengelstein and Hahnenkamm areas nearer to Kitzbuhel itself.
Excluding Gaisberg and the Kitzbuhelerhorn, only considering the main area between Pass Thurn, Jochberg, Kitzbuhel, Kirchberg and Aschau.

Ski schools and beginners areas, cross country ski and toboggan are available. The main fun park is in the Resterhoehe area at the Hanglalm, there are some good ski routes. Beware: the black slope number 56 is beautiful but time is needed for catching a bus to Skirast, there is no lift back up from Aschau.
Connections: although there are many good link across the hills with lift and slope, there is a skibus system to connect between base stations and villages.
