This is the mountain resort beside the lake Ossiachersee in the Austria state of Carinthia, with the peak at 1911m. On the lakeside at the foot of the mountain is Annenheim, a part of the town of Treffen and very near the city of Villach. Gerlitzen is the home ski hill of Villach. It is in the Nock mountains of the Gurktal Apls.

Winter Activity in Gerlitzen
The choice of approach to the mountain gives 3 options, Annenheim 520m, Birkenhof 1423m and Klosterle 1000m. From Annenheim there is a 4-seater gondola rising from 530m to 1450m. From Birkenhof there is a T-bar draglift from 1420m to 1770. From Klosterle a 4-seater chairlift from 1000m to 1480m. Each of these entry points leads to further lifts and ski slopes. To return to Klosterle or Birkenhof there are not blue slopes only red. To return to Annenheim requires use of the gondola. The prepared slopes are from 1910m down to 1000m.
